Easy Father's Day Craft For Kids To Make & Give

Posted by Admin. COMMENTS (0)

Father's Day is right around the corner and if you are looking for a fun & easy craft for the kids to make for gifts for Daddy or Grandpa or any "father" you want to give to then you are in luck!
One of the things I want to instill in my daughter is that homemade gifts are most often the best kind.  Something made with love means so much to whomever you are giving it to!
We had a sleepover this weekend with 2 of Olivia's little friends and they all made their father's day gifts together.  All you need is a cheap wooden frame which you could probably find at the dollar store.  I bought a white painted wooden one from JoAnn Fabrics for $1.99.  Ikea also sells very inexpensive plain wooden frames if you have one near you.  I bought some washable glitter glue and Crayola poster paint along with some gem stickers for a finishing touch!
The girls ages 2, 3 & 5 all had fun and were so excited to be making something special for their Daddy!  Just insert a picture of your little one and their Dad or Papa in the frame and you will have an unforgettable gift for this Father's Day!
I can't wait to see Olivia's proud little face when she gives her Daddy her frame on Sunday!

The girls start their Father's Day project.  So exciting!

The girls finish with their paint and glitter glue so we let it dry overnight.

Their frames were dry the next morning and they added their gem stickers for a little extra flair.

Of course make sure they write their names if they can and put the date on the back for this memorable keepsake.

The finished product. As cute as cute can be!
