Imaginary play is huge in our house right now. And I would bet imaginary play toys are on a lot of holiday shopping lists this year as well! One of the biggest purchases related to imaginary play for both boys and girls is the play kitchen. We all see the plastic run of the mill kitchens at stores like Target and Wal-Mart and even the dollar stores out there.
We have found some picks that go a little above and beyond these models. Your little ones will be sure to love them!
If you have a play kitchen you have purchased and your kids just love tell us about it here or on our Facebook page!
What we love about this Hideaway Country Kitchen from Guidecraft is that it will hide away literally! First play kitchen I have ever seen that literally folds up and can be out of sight in seconds. This is perfect for those of us who are limited on space.
We love the look of these What’s Cookin’ Kitchen Appliances from Land of Nod. One of the most impressive attributes is that it is actually MADE IN THE USA!
This retro kitchen from Pottery Barn Kids comes in pink, white or red!
Made in the USA and guaranteed to be different from anything you find in the stores we love this wooden play kitchen from the Cedar & Salmon Etsy Shop.
If you want something even more unique and personal and you have some time for a DIY project then check out these free plans from Ana White and the Fish sticks & Fries blog to build a custom play kitchen that can be passed down from generation to generation.
Made in the good old USA, you can feel good about purchasing these wooden kitchens from Whitney Bros.
This Anatex Country Kitchen is perfect for any little country girl or boy who needs a play kitchen this holiday season.
